Well, it's Thanksgiving and I'm full of turkey, good food, and a few glasses of alcohol. I've had good company, music, board games, and we even got most of the dishes washed already. There's no school tomorrow. I haven't gone crazy yet. I'm not homeless or dead in a ditch somewhere. And while I miss my friends, family, and usual Thanksgiving tradition, I'm still grateful I had them at all.

I'm copying Nami's idea to make a list of people I'm thankful for on here because it made me smile. So here goes.

To ~Shadow-Warrior-Nami, for being a fruitcake. You make me laugh, have the craziest ideas, and are always game for getting into trouble. Add in having a character as crazy as mine and being willing to put up with all the epic clusterfuck following me in this tournament. Thank you for putting up with all my questions.

To ~fancylances, for being sweet, silly, and the sort of person I want to cheer on. You're a good sport about everything, a brilliant writer, and know how to care for characters properly. Here's to all the fun we can make together.

To *HealingCrane, for putting up with everything I do to your characters and for turning into a watermelon. You've been very supportive of me as I traumatize (and mutilate) your characters. You're one of the nicest people and you should be less shy and things.

To ~RC0022, for running with my ideas like a madman. You've been really helpful for organizing things and bouncing ideas around, even though you've been really busy, sick and stressed out. I demand your life get better. D:

To *tiraldan, for always trying to cheer me up. If I ever get sad, you ask to help and tell me you care. And what's more, I know you mean it. Also, for all the fun band stories and the nickname Rivvy.

To ~Everlasting-Dream, for being epic. Your character is so cuddly and writing so fun and I like the way you think. Also, for drawing chibi Booker, being a Booker fangirl in general, offering to turn him into a zombie, and looking good in a top hat (because I'm sure you do).

To ~Just-Nith, for being my rival and all that goes with that. I remember when all this started and I was just browsing the ref sheets and noticed both how similar and how opposed our character concepts were. It's been fun to mess with them and see how that impact unfolds. Here's hoping for more good storytelling and macabre humor to come.

To *crystal-rex, for late night conversations, being my friend, and giving me more characters in my head. You have given me experience in the other side of OCTs (and somehow made me happy to be a judge), plus now I have the cuteness that is Marceles and Quark in my head. You care, you listen when I babble about my unrelated stories, and you share your stories with me.

To *ThreeBooksInTheFire, ~Leucrotta, and ~Tevys, for random chat antics. Good lord, the insanity, links, and general WTF of it all.

To ~Scribbleykins, for being a well mannered and charming judge. Also, it amuses me that you never seem to use my username as written. I'm always something like a River of Larks to you. Your sophisticated style and sense of humor never fails to make me smile.

To ~Leohan and *Angry-buddha-88, for being awesome writers and males from other countries (I guess Scribs is all that too). I've enjoyed reading your entries and seeing how things developed. Especially Leo and trying to edit for you. It was fun.

And to =mippins, without which I would have never met any of the people I've listed here. I hadn't expected to do a writing OCT, wasn't even really looking for one, but here she had a tournament with an awesome premise and very good organization and I decided it was worth trying. Also, she's a wonderful, hilarious person in general.

Other than that, my family and real life friends (that includes most of you Solluna folks now) should already know how much I love them. A fair number of them are on here, like ~evilnel, ~xelona, ~MegamiJadeheart, and ~elfinragdoll. Also, for all the people I've had fun talking to in the AV and WFL chatrooms. I couldn't list everyone, so I've mostly stuck with Exchange folks in this, but *pendragonvamp is love and awesomesauce. She's one of those people who honestly cares about helping other people improve and likes bringing us together. And is fun to RP and write short stories with.

So yeah, I'm tired, buzzed, and scatterbrained. I'm sure I've forgotten some of you, but I don't mean anything bad by it. I'm just grateful I've gotten to meet you all.
